President Meggen Gregory: Hi! My name is Meggen Gregory and I have been part of the CSI community since its inaugural year. I have two children attending CSI who will be in 1st and 2nd grade. I also have an older daughter who graduated from high school this spring. For the last two years at CSI, I have served on the PTO board, first as the Parliamentarian and then as Secretary. I’m looking forward to being involved with PTO again and am running for the position of President. My goal as President would be to support the continuing growth of our community, especially focusing on how to support out teachers, students, and families. As we enter a new school year that looks very different from prior years, I feel this connection to our CSI community will be more important than ever.
Vice President Shaheen Kanchwala: Hello CSI Wolves! My name is Shaheen Kanchwala. My daughter, Safia, will be in Third Grade at CSI this year, and my 4yo son, Rehan. Safia attended CSI as a 1st grader during the inaugural year. Last year, I was nominated by the Board as Vice President. My goal as Vice President was to continue to engage with the entire CSI community and ensure inclusion of all PTO members in our activities. The highlight of the year was working with the PTO on the Inaugural Adult Social & Silent Auction. I used my Project Management skills to collaborate with the Board to improve our community engagement. This past year, I managed updating the website and creating our social media platforms. This year, I am running for the position of Vice President because I would like to continue to support the PTO and welcome ideas for how we can keep CSI connected virtually as we begin this unique school year.
Secretary-Parliamentarian Annie Barlesi: HI! My name is Annie Barlesi and I have been a proud member of the Wolf Pack since CSI opened 2 years ago. I have two kiddos - Charlie in 2nd grade and Maggie, who's in 4th this year. Since our family has been at CSI, I have been involved in the classrooms and try to volunteer at least once a week. Last year I served as Parliamentarian, and I'm hoping to serve another year as your Secretary-Parliamentarian. I love CSI and would be honored to serve on the PTO board another year!
Treasurer Sara Siegrist: I am Sara Siegrist and I have been a CSI PTO Co-Treasurer since January of 2020. I would like to continue in the role of Treasurer for another school year. I have a mathematics background and taught all levels of high school math until my children were born. This year I will have daughters in 2nd grade and kindergarten at CSI.
Director of Communications Staci Binns: Hello. I'm Staci Binns and this will be our second year as part of the CSI Family. My daughter will be starting 1st grade. I also have a younger son who we hope will start Kindergarten at CSI in the '21-‘22 school year. While currently a stay at home mom, in my past life I was a VP of Advertising Operations & Referral Marketing. Last year I served as one of the Room Coordinators for Ms. Varich's Kindergarten class and I am looking forward to getting more involved in the CSI Community this year. I strongly believe that frequent, thorough, and effective communication is key to running any organization and keeping any community together. That being said, I am running for the position of Director of Communications.
Director of Programs Noelle Oliveira: Hello, my name is Noelle Oliveira. My son Samuel has been at CSI since the opening year and is now in second grade. I am a former educator having taught both first and second grades. I am currently a certified project manager working in the health care space. I am passionate about equality and education. Making a positive difference for all of our students drives my ambition to serve as the Director of Programs. I welcome the opportunity to serve the students, parents and staff at CSI. I know that my background in project management will be a value to the position.
Director of Fundraising Serena Cuyar: My name is Serena Cuyar and I will have a 1st grader this year at CSI, as well as a preschooler that looks forward to attending Kindergarten next year. As a neighbor and parent of CSI, we LOVE it and look forward to another successful year of innovation! I held the position of Director of Fundraising last year, and I would be honored to continue my role for the 2020-2021 school year.
