About the CSI Parent/Guardian Teacher Non-Profit Organization
What we do
Working with our families and the CSI staff, the CSI PTO is dedicated to creating the best experience possible for our students. Through fundraising and events, your elected board raises and manages funds to help with important educational programs that align with the school’s goals, such as field trips, community events, library materials, and supporting our teachers and staff.
​Our purpose is to serve CSI students directly, encourage the CSI community to assist with various school activities/functions/services, and provide financial assistance where needs are identified within the school, foster a community atmosphere, and support the mission and vision of the school and school district.
Who we are
The PTO is you! A "PT Organization" versus a "PT Association" is designed for more inclusive involvement from every parent/guardian, not just the board. Your participation in meetings and activities is highly encouraged to maximize what we can build for our students. The nominated and elected board is made made up of and voted on annually by CSI parents/guardians.
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
